Perth Amboy Free Public Library Announces 3rd Annual Women's History Month Celebration Panel

Honoring Outstanding Contributions to the Perth Amboy Community

Perth Amboy, January 10, 2024 – The Perth Amboy Free Public Library is excited to announce its 3rd Annual Women's History Month Celebration Panel, a significant event aimed at recognizing the remarkable women who have positively impacted the Perth Amboy community. In line with the national observance of Women's History Month in March, the library is dedicated to commemorating, studying, and celebrating the vital role of women in American history and, particularly, in the history of Perth Amboy.

- Date: Saturday, March 23, 2024
- Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm
- Location: Perth Amboy Free Public Library, 196 Jefferson Street, Perth Amboy, N.J.

Nomination Criteria:
The celebration panel will honor six Perth Amboy women leaders, irrespective of their current residence. Nominees can include individuals who are currently residing in Perth Amboy or those who have moved away but have left a lasting legacy in the community. It's not only about current residents; the library welcomes nominations for women who may have achieved professional accomplishments and contributed significantly to Perth Amboy but are no longer residents.

How to Nominate:
Nominations can be submitted through the library's official website. The deadline for nominations is January 31, 2024. All required fields on the nomination form must be completed for consideration.
