Perth Amboy Free Public Library Celebrates Resounding Success of 5th Annual Women’s History Month Event

Perth Amboy, NJ – The Perth Amboy Free Public Library proudly announces the success of its 5th Annual Women’s History Month Celebration, which welcomed a large and engaged audience of community members who gathered to honor and be inspired by the remarkable women shaping Perth Amboy through their leadership, passion, and service.

The highlight of the evening was the recognition of four outstanding women whose personal and professional journeys have made a lasting impact on the community: Middlesex County Prosecutor Linda Estremera; Janine Hernandez, CEO of the Book Publishing Academy and best-selling author; Isamar Payano, Director of the Office on Aging; and Virginia Morales, educator, business owner, and realtor. Each panelist shared powerful reflections on resilience, perseverance, and achievement, leaving attendees inspired and empowered by their stories and contributions.

The event brought together residents and leaders alike in a meaningful celebration of the strength, influence, and accomplishments of women in Perth Amboy. The Library extends its deepest gratitude to all who attended and supported this special occasion.

Special thanks are extended to Mayor Helmin Caba, Mayor’s Aide Miguel Arrocho, Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin, Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez, Council President Milady Tejeda, Councilwoman Rose Morales, Councilwoman Hailey Cruz, and Rebecca Robles for their presence and continued support. Additional appreciation is given to Iris Rodriguez of the Office of Senator Joe Vitale, Library Board of Trustees members Barbara Sottilaro and Maria Diaz, and Library Board President Isaiah Gomez, who did an exceptional job moderating the discussion.

The Library also recognizes its dedicated staff and volunteers, whose hard work and commitment ensured the event’s success.
